Small Poly Barbell Labels
Our small barbell labels are made from durable bright white synthetic (plastic) material, which gives you added security because they stay firmly attached to your items. Each label is 2.75″ wide, but only 1.375″ when folded. Each end tab gives you a print area that’s 1.0″ x 0.625″ and we can print in 1 or 2 colors for you. There’s no adhesive on the crossbar, so you won’t get adhesive on your items, and the labels can be cut away cleanly.

Large Poly Barbell Labels

Each label is 4.0″ wide, but only 2.0″ when folded. Each end tab gives you a large print area that’s 1.5″ x 0.5″; this is wide enough for a barcode to be printed. There’s no adhesive on the crossbar, so you won’t get adhesive on your items, and the labels can be cut away cleanly. We can print in 1 or 2 colors for you.

Long Tail Labels (also known as Rat Tail Labels)
Our long tail labels (also known as “rat tail labels”) have a long skinny end, so they can attach through the smallest of spaces. Our labels are made from durable bright white synthetic (plastic) material, which gives you added security because they stay firmly attached to your items. Each label is 4.0″ wide, but only 2.0″ when folded. The folding end tab is perforated so it folds in the right place, and gives you a large print area that’s 1.25″ x 0.5625″ on both sides; this is wide enough for a barcode to be printed. There’s no adhesive on the crossbar, so you won’t get adhesive on your items, and the labels can be cut away cleanly. We can print in 1 or 2 colors for you.

Elastic String Tags
Our elastic string tags are made of a sturdy gloss white paper tag material, and come attached in a continuous row with a tear-perforation between each tag to separate them. A loop of elastic string is already attached to each tag; the loop is 0.75″ long and can stretch to 2.0″ long. The print area is 1.375″ x 0.625″, which is wide enough for a barcode. We can print on both the front and back sides, and we can print in 1 or 2 colors (but only 1 print color per side; Black, Blue, Red or Green print are available, but no Silver or Gold print on this item). This is a great way to attach a price tag to items that are too large for barbell or long tail labels, like wide bracelets and watch bands.

Helpful notes about labels and adhesives.
- There are hundreds of different label materials and adhesives available, to accomplish almost any goal. They range from “ultra-removable” labels on one end, to industrial strength adhesives that are virtually impossible to remove on the other end. But, the more specialized your requirements, the more expensive the labels become. The materials we offer on our website(s) are the best premium materials and adhesives, which still come at reasonable prices, and can be produced in smaller quantities without large minimum order requirements. If you find that these materials are not strong enough, or don’t accomplish your goals, we can move up to more specialized materials that are as strong (or weak) as you need, but the cost and minimum order quantity can often be 4-or-5-times the prices we offer on our more standard materials.
- All adhesive labels are “pressure sensitive” – which means that they must be applied to the surface were you want them, and then given a firm even pressure across the entire surface of the label. This will activate the adhesive, and help it bond to the surface as best it can.
- Once applied to the surface, and given good/firm pressure, all adhesive labels take time to reach their final/ultimate bond strength. For each few hours that pass the labels become better adhered. Most label adhesives will not reach their final bond strength until 72 hours after being applied. But if you don’t have that long to wait, give it a minimum of 24 hours before testing the adhesive strength.
